The RUBC season will be kicking off from the 12th September 2018 and everyone is welcome to join in from that date. We understand that freshers may want to come a bit closer to the start of term, so get in contact and we'll help you plan when to join in, and we can help with accomodation before the start of term too.
The annual Henley gathering has gone down in tradition and it's a chance for RUBC students and Alumni to get together and celebrate a past and present successes, enjoy catching up with old friends and making new ones.
We welcome all RUBC alumni to join us.
Location details will be posted closer to the event.
Henley Women’s Regatta is the premier regatta for women in the United Kingdom.
Each year more than 1,500 rowers travel from all over the UK and from across the world to compete in this prestigious event. Held on the rowing world’s iconic stretch of the River Thames, HWR offers exciting side-by-side match racing for a wide range of competitors, from Juniors to University and Club to Elite level. Spectators are welcome to watch and enjoy the racing along the full length of the course – no tickets required!
Reading Amateur Regatta’s popularity and importance today stem from its date immediately before Henley entries close, together with its facilities, a mile of wide, gently bending river, a capacious enclosure, and its atmosphere.
It's on the home stretch for RUBC and an excellent oppertunity to enjoy some old fashoned river racing.
